BF Motorsport ready to land in Formula Italia from 2022

BF Motorsport confirms its presence in the new Formula Italia, starting in 2022, with the aim of fielding two single-seaters.

The interest in the Gruppo Peroni Race project in collaboration with PNK Motorsport continues to grow by national and international teams and drivers, attracted by the opportunities that the series offers in the panorama of formulas.

Imerio Brigliadori, with a background in the formulas as a driver, is therefore ready to undertake a new challenge in open wheels with his team, starting from 2022 in parallel with his commitments in the TCR field.

“I strongly believe in the Formula Italia project and I immediately supported Sergio as soon as he told me about it. I am happy to bring new drivers into this championship. I can confirm that we are already negotiating with several young drivers to participate with two cars, as we wait for the further details on the series. For me it will be a comeback to the world of formulas and this is a further incentive to carry out the project with dedication".

Sergio Peroni welcomes with open arms the interest coming from the teams involved in different motorsport categories: "The peculiarity of this new championship is the fact that teams involved in different categories, such as touring cars in this case, are interested in entering our championship for young drivers who are trying to break into this industry."
